O.K. enough of the trucks, let’s go with some more signage and two rants!
First: it’s a damn shame the old Sno-white sign lost the neon tubing and lights…but this is a total survivor drive in. . but with the added benefit of Pacific Rim - Latino additions! Along with the usual burgers, fried chicken, fries, onion rings, etc, hey, breakfast burritos and egg rolls too! My guilty pleasure: a soft ice cream cone dipped in chocolate! This is what makes the funky Seacliff RV Park so cool - great beach/liquor store directly nearby, the ocean directly nearby, the Sno-White right across the street, and a laundromat with an actual attendant with commercial grade washers and dryers. . which are critical for the occasional duvet, upholstery covering cleaning jags… and a mere 10 m drive from downtown Aptos with, have mercy, a Post Office! Seacliff is not one of those ‘resort’ parks, it’s semi residential and tucked away. . not glamorous like the San Diego or Oceanside places we stayed. But the price is way better, and what you can walk to is a lot better and pragmatic. . you can get things done!
Second photog rant: one of the most nauseating, excruciating gimmicks used by wedding and portrait photographers is that old sepia, soft b&w picture with the bouquet, rose, etc the only item in the image that’s color. . so I stood that on it’s head with the Sno-white sign. . so there. .
