we brake for farmer’s markets - oh, brother and how - did we hit the mother lode - The Hillcrest Neighborhood Farmer’s Market, one of the many in the San Diego area. Bags of blood oranges, mangos, all sorts of citrus hot damn! - -oyster’s, eggs, all the usual produce, but serious French green beans, all sorts of mushroom varieties, a riot of salad greens, gluten free bakery, serious heirloom tomatoes, varieties of nuts, all sorts of sprouts, and the food alley was insane.. . Oy Vey ! I’m getting a headache! but are we going to have a rockin’ stir fry tonight! Of course the Trader Joe gyoza always helps!

p.s. one vendor’s end of day sale : 6 avocados (somewhat petite, but o.k.) and one lime for, get this, 3 bucks!
