f l a s h * b a q u e ! San Francisco ! - - so we saw this trippin’ installation piece at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. . Exploded Views by Jim Campbell - this is mercifully brief at 30 seconds approximately. . not just an LED grid ( X by Y ) but it looked like there was a Z factor too at work, LEDs going back into the hanging panel. .
Infinite City by Rebecca Solnit - if you’re a savant groupie, she’s definitely a candidate for your swoons and pining over at distance. South of Market (SOMA) was gasping it’s last working class historical breath when I left in ‘92.. now that 280 is down, the new ball park in full swing, and all the new business buildings and residences are in place - a lot of great grit is gone…

Then back to the silver Airstream via the Larkspur ferry…
cutting my way through all the ghosts around me - into the parallel universe that was the past in San Francisco
adios, San Diego - little Italy was fun, but it was a cleaner, more Disney-esque version of San Francisco’s version if I remember it right…that obscured graffiti on the galvanized fence, that’s my kinda pretty…
